Every other month, Project Fitness hosts at Flats 130 a Healthy Happy Hour—a social activity that brings together health enthusiasts, professionals, and the general community in a cooperative, relaxed, and fun environment. During
the event, we eat, drink, and discuss various topics in the realm of health and wellness in an open forum.
Past topics, presented by leading professionals and experts, ranged from organic farming and acupuncture to relationships and the health benefits of aphrodisiacs. Interact with other residents or local running groups and find out who’s running in your neighborhood. Come meet Project Fitness and staff working to serve you to ensure you and your community with the best of fitness services and the opportunity to live an active lifestyle unlike any other residential community.

Project Fitness, is a DC based fitness company aimed at promoting health and wellbeing within local communities. Project Fitness has at the heart of its mission the building of a healthy environment and a health conscious community and to this end, each year it dedicates its annual DC Servathon to community projects which get local residents involved in fitness building.
PROJECT FITNESS CHALLENGE:
Interested in shaking up your normal workout routine? The Project Fitness Challenge will help you change it up and crush plateaus through helping you learn new and advanced exercises to add to your repertoire.
This Fitness Challenge is a performance enhancement program involving jumping jacks, box jumps, burpees, sit ups, kettle bells, and cardio endurance training. Individuals or groups can sign up and compete for a healthy bag full of prizes.
For eight weeks, workouts will be given each week to all participants that will force you to step outside of your regular routine. Participants’ fitness level will be assessed and scored at the beginning and at the end of the 8 weeks. If you are looking for a change, THIS IS IT!!
- The assessment takes exactly 17 minutes. Participants get one point for each, fully completed rep, for each exercise. Assessment dates and times will be Announced Two weeks prior to the Fitness Challenge Power Up Workouts. Make the necessary changes to win this fitness challenge!

These healthy socials will serve as an opportunity for people to sign up for the Fitness challenge “Power-up Workout,” start date to be announced; individuals or groups of people will sign up and compete for a healthy bag full of prizes. This will be a performance enhancement program, which calls for jumping jacks, box jumps, burpees, sit ups, kettle bells, and cardio endurance training. There will be workouts given to all participants to complete each week that will force each participant to step outside of their regular routine. Participants are encouraged to perform these workouts at least once during the week the work is given out. The participants are expected to make the necessary changes to win the fitness challenge. If you are looking for a program to shake up that routine, crush plateaus, and learn some new and advance exercises to add to your repertoire, THIS IS IT!
